UU Fellowship of Dubuque attended the Student Involvement Fair at University of Dubuque on Tuesday, August 27. Representing us at our booth was our minister Rev. Samuel Felderman (pictured in the middle), as well as UUFD members Amy Ressler (left) and Jo Ellen Langerman (right). This is a great example of how UUFD shows up for our community.

May 1, 2024 twelve Cedar Valley Unitarian Universalist community members attended a rally in Waterloo to support refugees in the wake of Iowa's new bill which takes effect July 1, giving local/state law enforcement the power of the federal government to deport those immigrants they believe to be here illegally. Similar rallies were held the same day in Des Moines, Iowa City, and Davenport.
