UUs in Dubuque at a Die In
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Dubuque members participated in Dubuque’s 2nd Die In on September 26, 2024 at Washington Park. The Dubuque Coalition for Non-Violence organized this event and describes it this way: It’s a physical display and demonstration to inform the public about the public health crisis of gun violence. The site had actors depicting fatal victims of gun violence and117 cardboard “tombstones” indicating the 117 people who DIE of gun violence on average each day in the USA.
