Immigration justice

The Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice is seeking volunteers to work on their hotline (must be bi-lingual) and for their Rapid Response Teams-people willing to show up at ICE offices with neighbors who fear or face deportation.  Training is provided.  Call at 515-255-9809 or email info@iowammj.org.

Contact your senators and urge them to retain federal jurisdiction over immigration policy and reject mandatory detention for people who are unlikely to pose any risk to public safety. Instead, we should invest in our tradition of welcoming immigrants and rejoice in their positive contributions to our nation.
